Gujarati Community

Gujarat is a state in the North-West coast of India. It is known locally as Jewel of the West. The state encompasses major sites of the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation, such as Lothal and Dholavira. Modern-day Gujarat is derived from Sanskrit (Gurjar-Rashtra), the Gurjar nation . The Gujarat state is divided in to 33 administrative districts. Today, Gujarat is one of the most industrialised states of India, and has a per capita GDP above the national average.

The state capital city is Gandhinagar , while its largest city is Ahmedabad and other major cities includes Baroda, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Junagarh &, Bharuch.

Gujarati is the most widely spoken and official language of the state, which is an Indo-Aryan language derived from Sanskrit.

The people who hail from Gujarat are known as Guajarati, who are famous for the successful business entrepreneurs.

There are more than 100 Gujaratis in Kinshasa including families &, kids doing business in electronics, pharmaceuticals , supermarkets, diamonds and working as Business managers, Accountants, bankers etc.

Various festivals are celebrated in Kinshasa. Some of the main festivals which are celebrated in Kinshasa are Navaratri, Diwali, New Year ,Maha Shivratri & Krishna Janmashtami.
